Cheryl Watson’s Tuning Letter 2020 No. 1 Emailed to Subscribers

by | May 11, 2020 | Cheryl's List

The latest issue of Cheryl Watson’s Tuning Letter, 2020 No. 1, is now ready.  However, our publishers, like many of our subscribers, are experiencing unprecedented volumes and demands for their services.  As a result, the availability of the Tuning Letter on our publications site will be delayed until May 18th.  This issue contains articles that are particularly timely for anyone that is considering a CPC upgrade at the moment, so we wanted to get it out to our readers as quickly as possible.  Therefore, we have emailed a copy of the Tuning Letter PDF to all paid-up subscribers that have a userid on our publications site.  If you have an ID on our publications site and did not receive a copy of the PDF, it is possible that it has been sidelined by your mail server due to the size of the PDF.  In that case, please contact us and we will find some other way to get the PDF to you.  Naturally, Tuning Letter 2020 No. 1 will be available on our publications site, just like all other Tuning Letter issues; it will just take a little longer than normal.

You can find the Table of Contents for this Tuning Letter issue here.  We will publish a new blog post with more information about the Tuning Letter contents as soon as it is available on the publications site.

We are also nearly finished with the latest CPU Chart spreadsheet and supporting PDF that contain information about the new IBM z15 T02 models.  We will email these directly to subscribers as soon as they are ready.  They will also be available in the CPU Chart section of our publications site as soon as possible.

We hope that all our subscribers are safe and healthy.  These are most unusual times, and we are all having to make adjustments to our lives.  But like all tough times, the coronavirus pandemic is bringing out the very best in many people, and hopefully it is giving us all pause to think about the things that are truly important in life.  Let us hope that our species has the intelligence to learn from this experience, keep the positive aspects, and fix the less positive ones.

From Cheryl and all the team at Watson & Walker, stay well and stay tuned!
